Hi friend,
May arrived with something I did not expect, a little more ease than I was bracing for.
This month's snail mail came together in the most natural way. No last minute scrambles, no pivots. Just a theme that felt right the moment I chose it and an artist who brought it to life beautifully. I hope you can feel that ease when you hold it in your hands.
Flowering Romance has been sitting in my heart for a while. When I chose it I was desperate for that feeling of being outside, soaking up the sun, surrounded by flowers, completely lost in a romance book. I was craving an escape so deeply and I think that craving shaped everything about this theme.Â
I hope this little envelope gave you exactly that.

Get to Know Your May Artist: Annisa
We are so happy to feature Annisa for this month's postcard!
How would you describe your art style in three words?
Dreamy, comfort, serenity
What drew you to this month's theme, and what did you hope readers would feel?
I love the idea of finding peace in a simple moment. What drew me to this theme was the image of someone completely lost in a book, surrounded by a lush, blooming garden. I wanted to capture that quiet 'me time' where the world slows down. I hope when readers see this, they feel a sense of tranquility, like theyâve just stepped into a calm, floral sanctuary for a breath of fresh air.
Do you have a favorite romance trope or love story?
Iâve always been a fan of the 'friends to lovers' trope. I love seeing a connection grow naturally from playful bickering and small teases into something deeply romantic and heartfelt. Thereâs something so beautiful about two people who already know each otherâs quirks slowly realizing theyâve fallen in love
Where do you usually find inspiration?
I find a lot of inspiration in the visual storytelling I see on Pinterest and TikTok
How do you like to slow down or find softness in everyday life?
I love to slow down during the weekends, taking the time to enjoy a good cup of coffee, sketching for fun, and just soaking in the peaceful atmosphere of a quiet afternoon. Itâs my favorite way to recharge my creativity
Where can readers find and support your work?
You can find more of my work on Instagram or TikTok @artku___

This one has been sitting in my bookmarks and I keep coming back to it. Adulthood has a way of sneaking up on you and making everything feel heavier than it needs to be. This piece by Ayushi Thakkar is gentle, honest, and genuinely useful without asking you to overhaul your entire life by next Monday.
Consider it a little extra something from me to you this month đ©·

Behind the Design
This was one of the easiest postcards we have ever put together and honestly it felt like a gift after some of the months we have had. The theme came naturally, the artist came through beautifully, and everything just fell into place the way you hope it will every time but does not always happen. We are so grateful for how this one turned out đž

Here is to days under the trees, slow afternoons, and the kind of romance that makes you forget what time it is.
