HOW IT WORKS

A monthly envelope of bookish joy.

1. Subscribe by the 25th

Join the Heartbound Snail Mail Society anytime before the 25th of the month to receive the next month’s envelope.

(For launch: subscribe Dec 1–25 to get January’s mail.)

2. We charge on the 25th

Billing runs on the 25th of every month, which secures your spot for the following month’s mailing.

(Dec 25 → January mail. Jan 25 → February mail. And so on.)

3. We create + pack your snail mail

After billing, we prepare your envelope with a curated bundle of bookish treats (postcard, note, bookmark, stickers, and more) all packaged with care.

4. Snail mail ships the first week of the month

Envelopes go out between the 1st–3rd, arriving in your mailbox early in the month.

When does my snail mail arrive?

• Your envelope ships the first week of every month and usually arrives within 2–5 business days.

When am I charged?

• You’re charged on the 25th of each month for the following month’s snail mail.

What’s the cutoff date?

• You must subscribe by the 25th to receive the next month’s envelope.
• Any subscriptions after the 25th begin the month after.

What’s inside each envelope?

•  A 4×6 illustrated postcard (subscriber-only)
•  A monthly note
•  A themed reading prompt
•  A QR card with playlists, picks, and digital extras
•  A monthly perk
•  A custom bookmark
•  Stickers
•  Branded packaging that feels like opening a gift

Can I cancel anytime?

• Yes! Cancel before the 25th to avoid being charged for the next month.

What if my mail gets lost?

• If your envelope doesn’t arrive or arrives damaged, reach out, we’ll always do our best to make it right. However, please understand that once they’re with the carrier, it is out of our control.

Do you ship internationally?

• Not yet, we currently ship within the U.S. only.
  

Can I pick mine up in-store?

• No because that defeats the idea of the "snail mail". Please do not select pick-up when you subsribe.
