Ego Adams thought she'd finally caught a break and was settling into her new life back in San Francisco. The drama of her past was in the rearview. Her burlesque group and dance studio were doing well. What wasn't great was having to unexpectedly move after her apartment flooded and being thrust into the vicinity of a man she was about to start working for. A man whom she'd accidentally seen naked and may have teased to the point of wanting to jump his bones.

Sincere Emerson didn't think his life would take the turn it had when Ego walked into his house and announced her best friend told her to take the empty room. He needed to focus on launching his music career after a snafu almost ended it before it could ever begin. Yet, everything told him that something about Ego was what he should focus on regardless of her organizing his upcoming choreography for an important show.
